For a fact, Austria is a highly developed industrialized country with an important service sector. Being well known for their developed ski tourism in the Alps, Austria is also known for being home to famous food brands like RedBull and luxury commodities like Swarovski or even Porche. Austrians itself considered to be a consumer society, price is an important element for consumers as well as brand awareness and quality. Traditional media like TV counts as the most efficient advertising media, reaching 60% of the population. Whilst printed media also shows effectiveness by reaching 70% of Austrians and represent 45% of the total advertising revenue. When it comes to internet advertising it is limited and covers 7% of the sector’s share. However, with over 80% of Austrians being connected, this sector enjoys a strong growth potential.
